I'm sorry. I don't mean to offend the writer, but I am likely going to. Simply put, this is just awful and should not be sold on Amazon. I found this while searching for 'Italian Christmas' in Amazon. Based on the title I assumed this would be something I could share with my little ones and it would reflect the joyful nuances of an italian style Christmas. Maybe I missed something in the listing of this item, but I don't think so.This 'book' shares a delightful tale of Santa Claus being drunk, smelling of cigars, speaking like Tony Soprano, and also magically includes gun violence on Christmas. I'm not joking. I was so disgusted when I read this, and thank god I did read it before just throwing it in the childrens stocking, that I actually got angry that someone would put something like this in print and sell it (with Amazon Prime) during the holidays.
Please stop selling this absurd book on Amazon. It is offensive to Italians, it is offensive to Christmas, and it is offensive to the human race knowing that someone actually found humor in this at some point. Shame on you.

This is a hysterical remake on a classic!! This makes parents laugh and chuckle on a beloved tale we grew up reading! It also gives us non-Italians insight of an Italian Christmas...it is a must read/buy for everyone with a great sense of humor!!
Every year I purchase a different night before christmas book. It's fun to see how the story changes. This one will definitely be a favorite.
